Summer Music Festival’s Jazz Ensemble and All-Star Band in Concert. South Shore Conservatory’s Summer Music Festival presents a combined concert of All-Star Band and Summer Music Festival Jazz Ensemble students. Each group performs individually, giving the audience an evening contemporary musical literature and outstanding jazz..

Flute Symphony Performance. South Shore Conservator's Flute Symphony celebrates its 19th season with nearly 100 flutists performing a variety of music styles, from baroque to classical, jazz to pop, music of present-day composers.

 

Join Us!  Tanglewood Trip - August 3.

 

South Shore Conservatory invites you to join a day-trip to the Tanglewood’s Koussetvitsky Music Shed on Sunday, August 3, 2008.  A deluxe motorcoach will leave the Ellison Center for the Arts in Duxbury at 8:30 am and the commuter parking lot in Rockland, across from Home Depot at 9:00 am. Evenings Under The Stars

South Shore Conservatory’s twelfth annual ‘Evenings Under The Stars' outdoor summer concert series begins on July 12 and continues through August 2nd. The performances will be held under the beautiful Jane Carr Amphitheater in Hingham, with both lawn and pavilion seating available. This year’s concert series will feature a broad range of musical performance styles, including classical orchestra, pop/rhythm & blues a cappella, a fully staged opera, and the musical reveries of folk legend Livingston Taylor.

Duxbury Music Festival

Duxbury Music FestivalSouth Shore Conservatory presents the Duxbury Music Festival, a classical music education and performing program for piano and voice, unique to all of New England. The festival opens on July 11th with a Pops Concert, and concludes two weeks later on July 25th with a performance of Strauss’s comic operetta Die Fledermaus.
